The UK’s premier home entertainment and gadget show Stuff Live, was hailed a huge success and exceeded all expectations.
This year’s show was held for the first time at London’s ExCeL Centre, from the 31st October – 2nd November 2008, and attracted a larger than anticipated number of visitors, with nearly 10,000 people walking through the doors over the three-day-event.
This figure demonstrates a 20% increase in visitor numbers. Show Exhibitors also reported strong sales and a high level of quality visitors over the weekend.
The success of the show has been attributed to the host of exhibitors and entertainment features from over 68 market-leading brands, exhibiting their latest products at the show. This included a large range of portable home entertainment equipment, the latest gadgets, and mobile phones, TV’s, supercars, multimedia players, satellite navigation systems, entertainment, gaming, music gadgets and much more.
The event also saw exclusive product launches from brands such as Universal, Asus, Cowan, Archos, and Tom Tom who all showed off their new products for the first time ever, to UK consumers.
A host of successful home entertainment demonstrations were also enjoyed by all thanks to What Hi-fi Sound and Visions’ demo rooms with HD ready TV’s, Blu-Ray technology and their fleet of soundproof rooms built specifically to demonstrate the phenomenal sound quality of the exhibiting brands. In addition, entertainment was provided throughout the weekend through the demonstrations and competitions put on by Stuff magazine’s editorial team on the Live Stuff Stage, as well as contributions by Canon, the Guitar Hero stage, and even some impromptu music sessions from SanDisk with their More Play DJ feature, and Roland’s electric drums.
